Reading a book AW Tozer and thoughts form the most high God !! The topic is so huge this is just a tip of the iceberg, we will forever keep learning more of Him for all eternity.

And because of the fall we are extremely limited in our thoughts of the Great One. Our soul senses its origin and longs to return to its source, if we are willing and brave to venture and not content to just be saved. It should be every believers want and joy to know more of our awesome God !!

In Christ, He says to know me is to know the Father who sent me. He shows Himself not to reason but to faith and love. Faith is an organ of knowledge , and organ of experience . God came to us as JESUS , to reconcile us to Himself, and by faith and love we enter and lay hold on Him, if we allow that.

In approaching God, He says the seeker discovers that the divine Being dwells in obscurity , hidden behind the cloud of unknowing but be not discouraged, the cloud is between us and God, so that we may not see Him. By Gods faith can break through into His presence if we but believe the Word and press on !!

God Incomprehensible part 1

A big topic but one that fascinates me. What is our God like? He is like no other or any thing. We learn by what we already know as a bridge over which we pass to the unknown. We do not have the ability crash through, our minds need a starting point and He will reveal more of Himself as we move ahead.

As strange as it appears to us. One gathers the whole scene is very real but entirely alien to anything men know on earth. He sits on the throne, but like a man, is so unlike one that He can discribed only as the likeness of the appearance of a man.

Scripture states that man was made in the image of God. By all means not the exact image, that then would take away from Him and make us as gods. God forbid that would totally destroy God and us. Look at Lucifier , who wanted to be as God . And he used the same temptation on Adam and Eve , and from that point on we are all dieing because of sins curse on mankind. ….. part 1

Why Satan isn’t Destroyed Already

1) Looked at Job , Satan claimed he could make Job curse God, shot down on that point. Even the lie he used on Adam and Eve would never sway Job.

2) It provides the Christian with the opportunity to be an overcomer in spiritual conflict. That in turn will make them stronger in the Lord. Jude 20,21 …building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keeping yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

3) And the destruction of Satan necessitates the destruction of his kingdom which would end the sinner’s opportunity for salvation. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise … but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So it is up to us to accept the free gift give to all , that cost Him so extremely much that in doing we may live with Him forever , no end !!

The Self-sufficiency of God

Teach us , O God that nothing is necessary to Thee. Were anything necessary to Thee, that thing would be the measure of Thine imperfection; and how could we worship one who is imperfect ? If nothing is necessary to Thee, and if no one , then not we. Thou dost seek through. Thou dost not need us. We seek Thee because we need Thee, for in Thee we live and move and have our being. Amen. Some of his thoughts along with mine. The Father has life in Himself, said our Lord, it is in JESUS teachings. And the brief statement sets forth truth so lofty as to transcend the highest reaches of human thought .

The Father has life in Himself, said the Lord, in that little statement, sets forth , truth so lofty as to transcend the highest reaches of the human though. Nothing can proceed Him and He needs nothing, He is what He is in Himself, and we so need to be plugged into this vastness of our God.

No creature has life in itself, all life is the greatest gift form Him. There is no other way to obtain that gift of God but though Him.

To say He has done something wrong or thought wrong, would mean thatvHe is not self-sufficient. Because all life is a gift from God. So we can’t receive nothing that He has not first given. Nothing is complete in and of itself but requires something outside itself in order to exist. For example to remove air and food to any organism it would die. So all things need God, and to God alone nothing is necessary.

As we build a house to provide shelter, or plant things for food to survive . Our awesome God needs nothing but out of His love for mankind, He gives all !!
